Instructions:

Step 1: Select the specifics of the valve to be tested (i.e. valve type and size).

Step 2: Select the presetting value as read off the handwheel indicator.

Step 3: Measure the pressure drop across the valve and enter it in the box below.

Step 4: Click the calculate button to determine the current flow rate through the valve.

Step 5a: If the flow rate is higher than the desired flow rate, turn the handwheel clockwise and then repeat steps 1 through 4.

Step 5b: If the flow rate is lower than the desired flow rate, turn the handwheel counter-clockwise and then repeat steps 1 through 4.
